Hello Hiincyber,
You ask a couple of very good questions. There are so many great manufactures to choose from. Fleetwood, Winnebago and Four Winds, are just a few that come to mind. The same goes to your question regarding options. There are so many to choose from it's tough to know how to know what will be important to you. Definitely make sure to have a generator; slide-outs a must have for added space; a back-up camera and leveling jacks are great. There are so many other options available and each manufacturer offers different ones. To narrow down your seach you will need know: Gas or Diesel? How many do you need to sleep? What kind of budget do you want to stay in? How are you planning on using this; are you becoming a full timer? Are you new to the RV lifestyle?
Feel free to contact by phone or send an e-mail and I will be happy to help answer your questions.

I agree, Fleetwood. Amenities - I think a bath with toilet, lav and shower in their own seperate room is nicest. Don't care for the across the hall set up, because there is less privacy and it really ties up half of the motorhome when someone is in the shower. We love our built-in auto coffeemaker. Nothing like waking up to the smell of fresh java. Electric step also great. Back-up camera really a must for safety. Having a booster on your TV gets you local stations when you're on the move, wherever you're parked for the night. Need a generator, for sure, with remote electric start is most convenient. Want a fridge that switches from elec.to propane. Day/night shades are nice. Good Luck! Happy and safe RVing!

I have always had good luck with the Winnebago line. I presently have a 1999 Chieftain 33 ft. This is my fifth Winnebago and have enjoyed them all.
